Getting started

What you need before you post, and what happens after.

Create an account, complete identity verification, then post a job or browse talents directly. Once you agree on scope, send a contract and fund the first milestone — work starts from there.

An email address or phone number is enough to register. Identity verification and a payment method are required before you fund your first milestone, because every client and talent on Rounx is verified.

Posting a job, browsing talents and receiving proposals are free. Costs appear only when you fund a milestone, and every amount is itemised before you confirm.

State the deliverable, the timeframe and a budget range, and choose the job title and skills carefully. Those fields drive the matching, so they decide the quality of the proposals you receive.

Posting and hiring

Writing the post, inviting people, choosing between them.

Select Post a Job, then fill in the title, description, skills, budget and duration. You can edit, pause or close the post at any time after it goes live.

Yes. Open their profile and send an invitation for one of your jobs. Talents you have saved appear first in the invitation list.

Look at their portfolio and contract reviews, their verification status, and how precisely the proposal answers your brief. You can also message them before sending a contract.

Yes. Send the contract directly, set the milestones, and fund the first one. Nothing else needs to happen before work begins.

Payments and escrow

How escrow works, what you can pay with, when you are charged.

You fund each milestone before that stage of work starts, and the money is held by Rounx. It is released to the talent only after you approve the delivery.

Credit and debit cards, PayPal, Alipay, and your Rounx wallet balance. If the balance does not cover the milestone, you can top up the difference in the same step.

When you fund a milestone — not when you post a job or send a contract. The amount, exchange rate and fees are shown before you confirm.

Yes. A contract is priced in an agreed currency, and you can pay from a wallet balance in that currency or exchange inside your wallet first. The rate is locked while you confirm.

Contracts and milestones

Splitting the work, reviewing delivery, changing terms.

Split by deliverables that can be reviewed on their own, and give each one a scope and a date range. Start dates follow on from the previous milestone, so the timeline stays consistent.

Request changes at the review step and say what does not match the agreed scope. Escrowed funds are not released until you approve.

Milestones that have not started can be adjusted. Anything already funded or in progress changes only once both sides confirm it on the contract.

Raise a dispute from the contract. The escrowed funds stay frozen while a neutral Rounx team reviews the delivery against the agreed terms and decides the outcome.

Account and security

Visibility, records, sign-in and closing your account.

Job and contract details are visible to the parties involved. You control the visibility of your profile, and your contact details are not shown to people you have no working relationship with.

Transaction history lists every escrow funding, release, refund and currency exchange, with the amount, currency and time.

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to reset it by email or phone. You can stay signed in on several devices; changing your password signs the others out.

Request closure in Settings. Any active contract or escrowed balance has to be completed or settled first, after which the account and its data are removed.
