The role is responsible for building and managing FORMIA's data infrastructure, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality data is available to support business intelligence, reporting, and decision-making across the organization . ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTION Data Architecture & Engineering Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms, databases, and data warehouses. Ensure data systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Drive continuous improvements in data architecture and infrastructure. Data Pipeline Development Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines. Integrate and automate data flows from ERP systems (Business Central), APIs, SharePoint, and other business applications. Monitor and optimize data processing and ingestion workflows. Data Transformation Clean, standardize, and prepare raw data for reporting and analytics. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, missing values, and duplicate records. Develop and maintain data transformation logic to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across business systems. Data Governance & Quality Implement data validation, quality checks, and governance frameworks. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity across datasets. Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and documentation. Business Collaboration & Analytics Enablement Partner with Data Operations Team and business stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs. Deliver reliable datasets and data models for dashboards and business intelligence. Support digital transformation and process automation initiatives across the organization. JOB REQUIREMENTS 6-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform, or related roles. Strong SQL and database management skills. Hands-on experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines. Proficiency in Python and Spark data processing frameworks. Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Star Schema). Exposure to Power BI data models and reporting environments. Experience integrating ERP systems, preferably MS Business Central. Exposure to finance, operations, or supply chain data is essential. Experience supporting enterprise-wide analytics and reporting platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working with complex data and backend data platforms. Focused on delivering reliable, automated, and scalable data solutions that support long-term business growth. Collaborative and able to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
