Objective of the Position As a Senor Advanced Analytics Associate within the Strategy and Planning department, you will help turn raw data into practical models and insights that support our day-to-day business decisions. You will focus mainly on coding and experimentation using e.g PySpark, Python, and SQL to build and test models that improve customer understanding, conversion, and retention. Over time, you will also support to build foundations for LLM-based tools that sit on top of these models for internal business users. What You'll Do? Strategic Analytics and Business Intelligence Build and maintain data pipelines and machine learning models in PySpark/Python (for example, market basket analysis, customer/product segmentation, and propensity or churn‑risk models Help design and improve custom data pipelines that make it easier to re train models and refresh outputs on a regular schedule. Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations stakeholders to understand the questions they want to answer, then translate them into analytical tasks and experiments. Gradually support the development of LLM powered tools (e.g. insight generation, analyst copilots) that sit on top of your model outputs and help non technical users query and interpret results. Document the work e.g code comments, basic READMEs, clear naming definitions / conventions). What You Have? A university degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. 3–5 years of hands on experience in analytics or data science, ideally in e commerce, retail, or FMCG, but other industries are also welcome. Strong coding skills in Python and SQL; experience with PySpark or other distributed data processing frameworks is highly preferred. Ability to structure complex data problems, choose appropriate techniques for the question, and explain your reasoning in clear, simple language to non technical colleagues. A pragmatic mindset: you balance analytical rigour with speed, and open to work under uncertainty or constraints (data gaps, evolving requirements). A growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools, experiment with new approaches, and continuously improve our analytics stack.
