Responsibilities: Skilled full stack developer (i.e., knowledgeable with both front-end and back-end technologies). Building client-facing web-based applications using multiple software development process models (e.g., Agile, Prototype, Iterative, Waterfall) and following the SDLC for web apps. Leverage existing open-source frameworks/APIs, build new APIs, and create system architecture to implement business logic, including integration with databases for data management. Utilize best and scalable development tools such as Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring, Node.js, RDBMS, MongoDB, and others as driven by the commercial needs of the business. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, passionate, resourceful, and driven to satisfy the needs of the customer. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science is good but not required. Portfolio of open-source work (on GitHub) is preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of working experience in web application development, best demonstrated by works on GitHub or a high score on Stack Overflow. Must have strong proficiency in Spring or Java as a core back-end technology, alongside good knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Real-world development experience and knowledge of some of the following: Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, Node.js, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Docker, and AWS is a must. Experience with some of the following: AWS, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Spring, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB would be a great advantage Experience with AI frameworks or services such as Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or similar platforms is a plus. Enthusiastic about exploring emerging technologies and delivering high-quality, efficient software solutions. Ability to work in highly dynamic, and challenging, and high-pressure environments. Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Good interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
