The Role The Head of IT will lead the enterprise-wide IT strategy and operations, driving digital transformation across property investment, development, management, and corporate functions. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for modernizing IT infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and enabling technology-led business growth in a fast-evolving PropTech landscape. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the Group’s IT strategy, aligning with business objectives in real estate, and sustainability. Oversee Group IT infrastructure, cloud migration, ERP systems, property management platforms, and other core applications. Lead major digital transformation initiatives. Strengthen group-wide cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, PDPO). Manage IT capital and operating expenditure, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships. Build and lead a high-performing Group IT team. Collaborate with business units (Property Investment & Development, Champion REIT, Langham Hospitality Group etc.) to deliver technology solutions that drive revenue, efficiency, and guest/tenant satisfaction. Monitor emerging technologies and recommend adoption roadmaps. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL) highly preferred. 12–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years at Head-of-IT / Director level in real estate, or multi-national company groups. Proven track record in large-scale digital transformation, cloud-first strategies, and cybersecurity in regulated industries. Deep knowledge of PropTech (IoT, building management systems) or hospitality tech (PMS, CRS, revenue management) is a strong advantage. Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin); experience in Hong Kong / Greater China markets is essential.
