About Us We are dedicated to transforming the construction industry through innovative, data-driven solutions. Our dynamic team combines expertise in data science, engineering, and construction management. We focus on revolutionizing operational workflows and enhancing overall project efficiency. Position Overview We are seeking a versatile and passionate Data Scientist to join our research team. You will take complete ownership of the machine learning lifecycle—from deep research and data extraction to interactive, production-ready solutions. You will bridge the gap between data science, software engineering, and construction management to inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on operational data, analyzing large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and efficiency insights. Custom AI Modeling & Image Processing: Design, build, and train custom deep learning models for complex tasks, including computer vision and image processing. Architecture Design: Evaluate various machine learning theories and methodologies to select the most appropriate model architecture, designing custom neural network layers tailored to specific operational challenges. Model Fine-Tuning: Continuously fine-tune, test, and optimize models to achieve high accuracy and reasonable, reliable results in real-world scenarios. Data Engineering: Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes to feed your models, including preprocessing visual data. Backend Integration: Wrap your machine learning models into robust, scalable RESTful APIs (using FastAPI, Flask, etc.). Frontend Delivery: Build interactive data apps or dashboards (e.g., Streamlit, Dash) to make your models and research findings accessible to stakeholders. Deployment & MLOps: Deploy containerized models into production environments and establish performance monitoring. Required Qualifications Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree are highly welcome and encouraged to apply if they demonstrate a strong, proven track record in this field. Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, advanced SQL, and familiarity with data visualization tools. Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Deep understanding of statistical analysis, deep learning theories, and modern frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras). Computer Vision Expertise: Hands-on experience with image processing techniques, libraries (e.g., OpenCV), and vision architectures (CNNs, Vision Transformers). Software Engineering: Proven experience building APIs and writing production-grade, maintainable code. DevOps & Tools: Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and standard CI/CD practices. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Cloud Advantage: Hands-on experience deploying solutions on Azure Cloud is a major plus (especially Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, or Azure Functions). Advanced MLOps: Familiarity with orchestration and lifecycle tools like Airflow, MLflow, or Kubeflow. Why Join Us? Be part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation, research, and technical excellence. Contribute to projects that have a tangible, real-world impact on the construction industry. Collaborate with a team of experts in a supportive and dynamic environment. Enjoy competitive compensation, flexible working hours, and a remote-friendly culture. Access opportunities and a dedicated budget for continuous learning and professional development.
