We are a boutique consulting firm founded by ex-MBB leadership, providing leadership and digital transformation services to major MNCs with operations in China and SEA. We are seeking a highly experienced, technical, and adaptable Project Manager (PM) to orchestrate a complex, large-scale Microsoft enterprise consolidation project. A key deliverable for this project will be the successful delivery of an IAM (Identity Access Management) workstream, migrating from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID. This role will be Contract-to-Hire. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between business stakeholders and the technical leads across IT, Security, and Engineering. Rather than performing the technical engineering yourself, your primary focus will be on world-class project management: mapping complex cross-dependencies, aligning overlapping workstreams, and driving delivery across a global, matrixed organization. You will need enough technical familiarity to understand the implications of IAM and networking decisions, allowing you to effectively translate those impacts for non-technical leadership and ensure seamless change management. Key Responsibilities Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead and synchronize multiple concurrent workstreams, acting as the central point of coordination for technical leads in IT, Security, and Engineering. Dependency Management: Proactively identify, map, and manage complex cross-dependencies between workstreams to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth project sequencing. End-to-End Delivery: Plan, execute, and oversee the global Microsoft Entra ID migration timeline, managing resources, budgets, and reporting across multiple geographic regions. Change & Scope Management: Swiftly adapt to shifts in project scope and champion robust change management strategies to ensure organizational readiness and minimal business disruption. Technical Translation: Partner closely with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex infrastructure and security decisions into practical, business-focused implications for executive stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives and working with technical teams Relevant Project History: Proven track record of managing at least one similar large-scale migration to the Microsoft platform (e.g., Azure cloud migration, InTune adoption, Purview implementation, EntraID implementation) Organizational Navigation: Extensive experience running global projects within large, highly matrixed enterprise organizations involving multiple regions and diverse stakeholder groups. Technical Familiarity: A solid conceptual understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, IAM, Purview, DLP, and Networking principles—sufficient to hold technical teams accountable and identify project risks. Ability to identify 2nd and 3rd order implications to technical decisions. Strong ability to translate technical decisions to business stakeholders Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English , with the ability to bridge the gap between deeply technical teams and business leadership. Preferred Qualifications & "Nice-to-Haves" ITSM Experience: Background in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and/or experience working with ServiceNow (SNOW). Language Skills: Professional proficiency or fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is highly preferred to support specific regional stakeholder groups. Background: Previous experience in a technology consulting, advisory firm, or professional services environment is a strong plus. Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications. Who You Are The Ultimate Connector: You excel at seeing the big picture and understand how a delay in a security workstream impacts a networking deliverable three weeks down the line. Agile & Resilient: You thrive in dynamic environments, maintaining composure and clarity when dealing with shifting priorities, ambiguous requirements, or changes in scope. A Master Communicator: You do not just report on status; you actively facilitate alignment and drive consensus among competing priorities. A Change Agent: You understand that deploying the technology is only half the battle; guiding the people and processes through the transition is where the real success lies.
