We seek a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Rauschmayer, a renowned German wedding band manufacturer with over 60 years of excellent craftsmanship. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence and delivering an exceptional user experience for customers across the globe. THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who can own features end-to-end: from database schema to deployed UI. You will work on our internal ERP platform and customer-facing webapplications, collaborating closely with a team of up to ten developers. This is not a ticket-factory role. You will make architectural decisions, review code from senior engineers, and be expected to push back when something doesn't make sense. WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO Take ownership of the entire development cycle, from initial idea and requirements analysis through implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement based on feedback. Design and implement features across AngularJS frontends and Grails backends Work with RESTful APIs, relational databases (SQL), and real-time communication(WebSockets/SSE) Review pull requests from teammates and external partners and defend your own Debug production issues under time pressure not just write greenfield code Participate in architecture discussions and translate business requirements into technical solutions Maintain and refactor legacy code, not everything is new and shiny WHAT WE EXPECT Must-have (non-negotiable) Demonstrated experience building web applications with a JavaScript framework (AngularJS experience is a strong plus) Backend experience with Groovy/Grails, or Java/Spring, JVM-based web frameworks Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows Good written and spoken English Valued experience ORM frameworks (Hibernate, GORM) CI/CD pipelines, Docker, deployment automation Experience optimizing business processes through software Familiarity with HTML/CSS, npm/node ecosystem Good written and spoken German, Mandarin, Cantonese A note on AI tools: We expect developers to use AI assistants, it would be strange not to in 2026. What we careabout is that you understand the code you ship. Our evaluation process is designed to test yourreal-world problem-solving ability, not your ability to generate boilerplate. You will be asked to worklive, explain decisions under pressure, and debug code you didn't write.
