Our clients are sizable organization, forming its New Cloud Technology team of 6, looking for Cloud Professionals to work on its infrastructure transformation project. Banking and Finance Industry: The New Openings of the Cloud Architect team are: Senior Manager (Cloud Platform) 1 x Position Manager (DevOps Architect) 1 x Position Senior Architect (Cloud Architecture) 1 x Position Senior Engineer (Cloud Governance) 1 x Position Engineer (Cloud Platform) 2 x Position The Job Description below is for all positions which is just taken as a reference only. As far as Candidates with Cloud /OR DevOps experience will be considered subject to their skills and technical experience since there are 6 openings. Responsibilities: For the Manager / Architect role, will act as cloud and solution architect to manage and develop the solution and architecture design for the cloud platform based on the business requirements with the deepen study of technical features and security assessment, and with the consideration of the possible cloud solutions or new technologies offering from the existing cloud service provider and in the market, solution compatibility and system integration, cloud security standards and operational efficiency, e.g. automation, optimisation of operational efforts, minimization of the operational risk, etc. Develop the high-level design of the solutions and technical project plan with the project team, cloud/solution vendors and IT stakeholders, and responsible for Bill of Materials for project budget and procurement purpose. Oversee and support the solutions technical deployment and low-level design development, ensure the deployed technical setup is aligned with the solutions design with proper documentations for the handover to the operation team. Ensure the designs in place meet the defined design principles and related compliance requirement such as ISO27001 and CSTAR. Perform regular review on existing cloud platform design and architecture, identify improvement plan to strengthen the operation efficiency, enhance the performance and security posture. Provide expert advice on the adoption of new technologies, including cloud computing and related platform component integration from technical and risk aspects to support the company’s continuous growth and business development. Also develop the related Cloud Platform roadmap. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) Requirements: University degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline Minimum 2 - 10 years of relevant experience preferably gained from financial institutions Solid experience with advanced troubleshooting skill in cloud infrastructure and container platform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud management platform, cloud-native solutions its related cloud services integration, cloud security design. Solid experience in technical project delivery such as requirement gathering, solution design, assist to build new solution and transit it to operation and production. Knowledge on Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, Github Enterprise, Sonatype, Github Action, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Golang, shell script, ArgoCD, Hashicorp Vault and CICD pipeline etc. is preferred. Familiar with ITSM process, IT governance framework and IT compliance standards in financial industry is preferred Ability to use analytical, innovative and structured approach to problem solving, with the sense for pragmatism, common sense and self-starter mentality Candidate with less experience will be considered for a junior engineer position Interested parties please send full resume in MS WORD format stating current salary, expected salary and availability to us CV@ActonCL.com .
