We seek an experienced C/C++ Backend Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-performance low-level systems. Responsibilities include: OS-level services (IPC, memory management, async I/O); high-concurrency networking stacks (TCP/UDP, HTTP/3, QUIC, custom binary protocols); database kernel components (storage engine, query execution, WAL logging, replication); real-time streaming media servers (low-latency ingestion, transcoding orchestration, adaptive bitrate delivery); and scalable stateful game server backends (matchmaking, session management, entity synchronization). Candidates must possess strong systems programming expertise, deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, network protocol stacks, concurrency models (epoll/kqueue, lock-free structures), and performance profiling tools (perf, flame graphs). Familiarity with modern C++ (C++17/20), embedded databases (e.g., SQLite internals), FFmpeg/libav, or game networking frameworks (ENet, RakNet) is highly valued.
