The project: A large-scale infrastructure programme involving complex civil, structural, and MEP works across multiple sites. The scope includes new town development, advanced technology facilities, and integrated transport systems, with emphasis on systems coordination, asset renewal, and long-term operational resilience. You’ll be responsible for: Manage subcontract packages end-to-end, from procurement through to final account close-out. Lead tendering processes, including preparation, evaluation, and award of subcontract packages. Maintain cost control, managing changes, reporting, and commercial performance. Identify, manage, and mitigate risks while protecting project margin. Drive value through cost optimisation and value engineering opportunities. Collaborate across teams to deliver commercial outcomes aligned with net zero objectives. You’ll need to have: Degree-qualified, with CSCS and ideally MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation. A minimum of 8 years of experience with demonstrated NEC experience, including contract administration, cost assessment, and application of NEC3/NEC4 frameworks. Proficient in commercial tools, contract administration (JCT), and cost control systems. Experience in value engineering, reporting, and managing subcontract financial performance. Strong planning, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills.
