FinTech AI R&D Assistant We are an HKSTP-supported FinTech startup based in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. We turn advanced AI technologies into practical products and measurable outcomes for financial institutions and other clients. We offer a genuinely flexible working arrangement. Working days, start and finish times, and on-site attendance can be coordinated in advance based on project needs. This is an assistant-level role designed for candidates who value flexibility, hands-on experience, and opportunities to learn directly from an early-stage FinTech R&D team. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development and iteration of AI and FinTech proof-of-concept projects. Conduct technical research, collect and prepare data, run experiments, and document results. Test AI models and product features, identify issues, and provide structured feedback for improvement. Support the transformation of research ideas and emerging AI technologies into practical product features. Prepare technical documentation, project materials, demonstrations, and internal reports. Participate in product discussions and provide input based on research findings, testing results, and user feedback. Contribute to product deployment, client demonstrations, and on-site technical activities when required. Work on other R&D and product-related tasks in a fast-moving startup environment. Requirements Currently holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or another STEM-related discipline. Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, data analysis, or software development. Hands-on experience with Python, AI tools, technical projects, or proof-of-concept development is preferred. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Interest in FinTech, AI applications, and startup product development.
