We seek an experienced Backend Java Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance, resilient microservices. You’ll work with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Jakarta EE on AWS/GCP. Must have 4+ years building RESTful APIs, integrating with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), observability (Prometheus, Grafana), and domain-driven design is essential. You’ll collaborate with product and frontend teams, write clean, testable code (JUnit, Mockito), and mentor junior engineers. Strong grasp of concurrency, JVM tuning, distributed transactions, and security best practices (OAuth2, JWT) required. Remote-first, global team. No agencies or recruiters.
